Some leaks have surfaced claiming that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s next release will include three new games modes along with other additions.
Nuno Silva, a Portuguese CS:GO Pro Player, shared the leaks on Twitter. According to him, three new modes will include a Heist mode inspired by the popular video game Payday, the most anticipated Retake mode, and versus modes – 1vs1 and 2vs2. In addition to the new modes, CS:GO may also receive map remakes for Mirage, Office, and Tuscan. The Danger Mode may undergo a makeover as well.

The leaks also claimed that a Source 2 Engine port is about to be completed. After moving CS:GO to Source 2, it is expected to have better and smoother gameplay and performance by cutting performance-saving overhead that plagues existing setups. We may also see improvements in graphics.
Finally, the leaks suggests that CSGO will receive annual Operations from now on, meaning players will be able to enjoy the Operation every year. The last Operation, Operation Hat Free Web, was released in November 2019 so the next operation is expected to arrive in November 2020.
Valve has not confirmed any of these leaks. But if they turn out to be true then CS:GO fandom will be over the moon for sure!
