Without dropping a single map throughout, Virtus.pro have stormed through the other teams at ESL Challenger February and taken the $50,000 prize.

On the path to the final, Virtus only once came close to a defeat, at the hands of 9z when they were taken 16-14 on Mirage, in doing so they smashed the 14 wide win streak that 9z had built up to that point. For the Virtus.pro though, that one close call, the CIS favorites were able to knuckle down and suffered no further problems of any kind as they stormed through Movistar Riders (16:3, BO1), then Complexity (2-0) and then decimated FURIA (2-0), and that was all it took to grasp the prize and go home to the five players countries with the trophy and cash.

As for the other teams though, 9z have continued their thrilling rise to power, where they managed to almost topple Virtus, and then proceeded to best Dignitas in a fantastic close 2-1 match, in which all 3 maps played were close calls, 9z going 16-14 on Mirage, then Dignitas fighting back 16-11 on Ancient, before 9z pushed in the moves to get a 16-13 victory for the match on Nuke. Not content with that victory, they also toppled the Spanish rising power of Movistar Riders, going 2-0 across Overpass & Mirage. It wasn't to be though, with FURIA toppling them in the semi-finals 2-1. For FURIA, this tournament was a great return to play, where they managed to bash down HEET (16:9) & ORDER (16:4) in quick fashion to begin with, and then had the match with 9z above, only for the effort to go to waste, and they dropped the ball entirely in the finals.

Looking ahead for teams that took part in this tournament, FURIA & Virtus.pro are pre-qualified for IEM Katowice, whereas Movistar Riders were recently confirmed to be taking Complexity's place at the Katowice Play-In's, due to multiple COVID positive tests from the Complexity camp. This means that Complexity won't likely be back in action until mid-March, when ESL Pro League kicks off, where they'll likely run into FURIA & Virtus, so any lucky escapes at Katowice will come back around for them.
