It was a long road for forZe, but after 8 matches they take the $44,000 grand prize, after downing ENCE 2-1 in the Grand Final.

It was an incredibly impressive run for forZe, especially after losing their first match. After this loss, to Endpoint, they went on to win all 7 of the next matches in the tournament and dropped just a single further map which happened in the Grand Final. Up to that point they had recovered from the loss, and won straight 2-0s against 777, Tricked, SKADE, 1WIN, BIG & GamerLegion. This means that across 8 matches they dropped just 3 maps and won 13, an impressive feat for any team.

The Grand Final started on the newest addition to the pool, Ancient. ENCE started strong, going 9 to 6 on their CT run, but collapsed on the T side, letting forZe take 10 further rounds to add their collection and getting the all-important 16 to 12. Next up was Nuke, which the teams fought over so closely it went into overtime before ENCE overran the Russian squad, and gave the Europeans their first map of the match, ending it 19:16. Lastly came out Mirage, where forZe narrowly avoided overtime in another closely fought battle ending in 16:14, giving forZe their second win in the best of three final.

forZe had already qualified for LAN Sweet LAN, having previously won the Spring Sweet Spring event are now entered into LAN Sweet LAN, which has recently been rescheduled to August rather than April. Here they'll face off against some fierce faces, with teams including MOUZ, Entropiq & Virtus.pro amongst the teams who have already earned their place through the Relog Media events of the past several months. Because forZe were already qualified, it is possible that ENCE will still earn an invite for being the runner-up.

There is now just one more Pinnacle Winter series to go, before all the events offering invites to LAN Sweet LAN are completed, the regional qualifications for which start today, before the main event starts on the 7th March.
