After a quick Grand Final, Heroic are now firmly seated in the LAN Sweet LAN finale later in the year, as well as $40,000 to bankroll the team as the year unfolds.

Copenhagen Flames did all they could to try to see off Heroic, but they never looked comfortable at all, as Heroic steamrolled them round after round. In Vertigo, the flames faired fairly well on the T side, going 6 to Heroics 9, although when swapped it became clear that they had a huge hole in their strategy book, and they won just a further single round, giving Heroic the map 16:17. Next we moved to Nuke, where a similar story was waiting to be told. A 9:6 start was met with a 7:3 second half, for a 16:9 second map, and a match win for Heroic. For Copenhagen however, it's not all bad news as they have formally seen off the Young Ninjas, the academy team from NIP who have a lot of promise, so defeating them in straight 2-0 manner will have got the team some attention. Heroic meanwhile saw off Apeks & ECSTATIC in the run up to the final, with all of their matches going 2-0.

Heroic now go forward to the LAN Sweet LAN finals, which is scheduled to take place from mid-August, and sees all the winners of the Pinnacle series come together for one last great bash, as well as Heroic also qualified are Entropiq, K23, forZe, MOUZ, HAVU, ECSTATIC, Virtus.pro & OG. FunPlus Phoenix were qualified, although the team have since disbanded, ReLog Media are yet to tell the world what the plan there is. Seven spots remain up for grabs in the final, 4 of which will be invited, with 3 other slots still unaccounted for in how the qualifications will run, although time allows for another series of events in the run-up, perhaps.

Looking ahead, Heroic were sorted into Group D of ESL Pro League 15, and take to the stage on 30th March onwards, with their first match ups being Complexity & Astralis. Copenhagen Flames are participating in the Pelaajat Nordic Masters starting tomorrow, and later in April they'll compete in the PGL Antwerp Major RMR, where positions at the coveted Major are available, although they'll be seeing off heavy-hitting opponents like G2, NIP & Entropiq for those places.
