Gambit managed to go up 2-0 in the StarLadder RMR Grand Final before NAVI kicked into gear and took three in a row, in a showdown of what are easily the best 2 Russian teams in Counter-Strike at present.

Gambit started the match with a 1-0 advantage due to coming from the upper bracket of the tournament to this position, and then took the newest map of Counter-Strike, Ancient, in speedy 16-7 fashion. Thankfully the next map Dust2 was the pick of Natus,  and the team was quick to snap into action to secure the map 16-9 in favor of themselves thanks in large to a key ace by electronic along the way. Next, we headed to Mirage where both teams put up a good fight right from the start to end 8:7 to Gambit by the halfway point, however they lost steam early into the second half, and through a mixture of clutches and clever plays, Natus were able to run over them repeatedly for the rest of the map, ending 16:11 to Natus, after they allowed their opponents just 3 extra rounds. For the final map we headed over to Italy where the map Inferno takes place, whoever won this would win the tournament at this key 2 map each stage. Our final map proved to be by far the liveliest as both teams threw all they had at each other. With both teams throwing clutches from every angle at every opportunity, causing both teams to need to pull eco rounds at dangerous points. Eventually the dust settled, and Natus Vincere were the ones at the top, finishing Inferno 16-13 and taking the event 3-2.

Natus take home $40,000 and an extra 2,000 regional major ranking (RMR) points, with Gambit taking $15,000 and 1,875 points. With Spirit taking 1,750 points for coming third, K23 taking 1,625 for fourth, and finally forZe taking 1,500 for fifth. Overall for the CIS region, Natus, Team Spirit & Gambit take up the top 3 positions based on RMR points at present, with just one more RMR series to occur later in the year.
