With three WePlay Academy leagues completed, MOUZ NXT has shown its dominance once again, winning all three of them, after thrashing BIG Academy in the Grand Final of the latest season.

MOUZ NXT had a very strong showing, they played ten matches during this season and won all of them except one. Where many events down to nothing but bad timing got the better of them, and allowed Spirit Academy to take advantage and win one of the early best of one maps 16:7. Later on, when the matches turned to Best of 3, MOUZ NXT dropped a single map, to Astralis Talent, before the MOUZ academy team came back with a menace to take Mirage & Vertigo on 2 16:12 events, after the initial loss on Nuke. However, after that minor shake, the team then faced BIG Academy twice in quick succession. Once in the Upper Bracket Final, and then again in the finals, after BIG Academy clawed their way out against Astralis Talent in the consolidation final.

With each of these academy leagues passing by, MOUZ NXT is slowly moving up the rankings of CSGO esports as a whole, and are now at risk of perhaps overshadowing the main team. So it's quite possibly that it won't be long before some of the Academy team members either receive promotions to the main team, or get headhunted by other teams looking to bolster their own rankings with fresh young talent.

MOUZ NXT will take away $45,000, whilst BIG Academy takes just under half that at $30,000 and third place Astralis Talent will have $15,000 to take home. BIG's academy team is already in action again at the Thunderpick Bitcoin Series, whilst the other two top three teams here are currently not expected at any of the events coming up in the short-term. However academy teams are often called to action at short notice, so be sure to keep tabs on your favourite academy team!
