After a fierce 48 hours, 12 of the 16 teams have now earned a ticket to the main IEM Fall event later on this month.

In no particular order, the teams going through to IEM Fall 2021 Europe are; Dignitas, Sinners, Movistar Riders, fnatic, FaZe, Fiend, Sinners, SKADE, Copenhagen Flames, ENCE, MAD Lions & AURA - whereas for Eternal Fire, Anonymo, OPAA & SAW, just a sad look of disappointment to look forward to.

IEM Fall will take place between 29th September to 10th October, where 24 teams go head to head. The other 12 teams that are in line for the event, which doesn't include the qualifiers above are; Heroic, Sprout, Vitality, G2, Complexity, NIP, OG, Astralis, BIG, mousesports, FunPlus Phoenix & DBL PONEY, who all received direct invites by the organizer based on previous events and showings from the teams. With $105,000 worth of prize money on offer, there will be a grand battle for the largest chunk of that prize, however & more importantly perhaps, is that IEM Fall will be the final event for the gaining regional major ranking (RMR) points, which decides who goes through to the Majors set to be in Stockholm and hosted by PGL, who have previously hosted the 2017 Kraków major, so have experience in this area to put on the best major in what will be the first for over 2 years at the time of the event.

In the near future, for many teams listed here will be BLAST Premier Fall Groups, which will neatly play out and finish with a few days spare time for teams to relax until the main Intel Extreme Masters: Fall event gets underway.

It is worth noting, that qualified teams mentioned in this article relate to the Europe edition, the CIS region will play their closed qualifiers in a few days time, for the IEM Fall CIS region tournament.
