Flashpoint has revealed the match-ups for the first part of the closed qualifiers for the third installment of Flashpoint. The qualifier starts tomorrow, April 27th, with the event proper due to start on May 10th.

The 16 teams taking part in the closed qualifiers are; HAVU, ENCE, mousesports, Endpoint, AGO, SKADE, Complexity, Dignitas, Tricked, DBL PONEY, Sprout, Sangal, Lilmix, Movistar Riders, GameAgent & Anonymo. Just 5 of them will earn a place at Flashpoint 3, where they won't just take home a yet-to-be-determined prize pool, but it'll also act as a Regional Major Ranking (RMR) event for the EU area, offering the first chance to start earning the points towards the PGL Major, to be hosted in Stockholm, Sweden in November of this year.

At this event, Complexity were ranked as the highest seed, and in theory will be given the easiest route to the main event, at least to start with.

The first matches, will all play out tomorrow, are tomorrow and occur from 15:00 GMT/UTC.

Complexity vs. GameAgents

Sprout vs. SKADE

Anonymo vs. ENCE

Dignitas vs. DBL PONEY

HAVU vs. Sangal

Endpoint vs. Tricked

Lilmix vs. mousesports

AGO vs. Movistar Riders

The close qualifier will be a 3 day event, which follows on from four open qualifiers which is how Movistar Riders, SKADE, Tricked, DBL PONEY, GameAgents, Lilmix, Sangal & Anonymo found themselves here. The other teams not mentioned were invited directly by Flashpoint. The event will be double elimination brackets, which will wrap with a 5th place decider to determine the final spot. There's no prize money to be found in this event, only the promise of an appearance at the main event where there will be plenty of dollars on offer, as well as those previously mentioned RMR points! Over the coming months, plenty more RMR events will take place across all the regions of the globe, offering plenty of further opportunities for EU teams, and of course all other teams of all regions, to get more points ready for that Major at the end of the year.
