In a great tournament, the biggest shame was there were only two positions available going forward to the Fall Finals, despite so many of the teams performing some of their best matches of recent memory.

Of the 16 teams, Heroic & Liquid were the two finalists, and thus, got the tickets to Fall Final. The other 14 will receive a rather nice prize bank boost, with even the teams coming in 9th to 16th being awarded $3,750.

Heroic smashed through all their opponents, winning all their matches in straight 2-0 sets. Their first match was against POGGERZ, who unfortunately drew the short straw in this tournament, coming up against what is likely considered to be the biggest team in the tournament. Despite this great skill difference, POGGERZ took them for 16-11 & 16-10 on Mirage & Nuke. Following this they, Heroic, tore through Dignitas, and although Dignitas was able to take them into overtime on Nuke, the deal was finalized for the Danes over the Swedes, as Heroic took Overpass 16:13. Lastly, in the semi-finals, OG attempted to overcome the Danish storm, although Inferno & Overpass saw 16-12 & 16-11, giving Heroic the last win they needed.

Next up is Liquid, who came across 9z, Virtus.pro & MAD Lions on the way to victory. First up was 9z in the Round of 16, where Liquid held nothing back and steamrolled 9z 16-3 & 16-6 across Inferno & Nuke. Following on, Virtus.pro attempted to do what 9z miserably failed at. Inferno proved a tough match for both, ending 16:14 for Liquid, who went on to have a wobble on Vertigo, going 16-9, giving Virtus.pro a leg up and a 1-1 score for the match. Next up was a deciding match on Overpass, where Liquid managed to recover from the Vertigo disappointment, and take the match 2:1, after Virtus.pro struggled to find the right strategies to outdo a high-performing NAF & Stewie2K on the watery team. Last up, MAD Lions were next in line, where once again NAF proved to be the power in terms of kills. MAD Lions managed to only go two maps with Liquid, suffering defeats on Nuke (16-9) & Inferno (16-13), which gave Liquid the third and final win for the all-important ticket to the huge Fall Final event.

BLAST Premier Fall Final takes places between November 24th, and November 28th, with a prize pool of $425,000. All the teams are now locked in for the event, and those are Liquid & Heroic from this event, plus Natus Vincere, NIP, FaZe, BIG, Astralis & Vitality.
