Wasting no time since the previous event, Snow Sweet Snow 2 has kicked off today with another 32 teams ready to take each other down. The regions will finish on February 26th, giving a short break before the main event starts on March 1st, and lasts until March 10th.

The playing field has been split into 8 groups, lettered A to H, with each group representing a region of the globe. The top 8 teams will be taken into the main event, with the rest being shown the door, and if they get top 16, also a $1,000 for their efforts.

The previous and first tournament in the Snow Sweet Snow series, was won by FunPlus Phoenix, after the addition of ChrisJ to the squad.

This current tournament has well known names in Cophenhagen Flames, Tricked, AGO, Nordavind & Winstrike. Giving nearly every group a firm favourite to get through to the swiss stages, and hopefully onto the main event.

This event will also see the well known 'Astralis' name, although with great relief for all teams taking part, it is the early talent pool that Astralis try to raise up, with the youngest team member 17, and the oldest just 21.

The tournament will play all week, with up to 3 matches for all teams so if you're ever stuck for things to do over the next 10 days, you'll be sure to find a match to watch live, or a VOD, over on the Twitch channel.
