Relog Media have announced a new series of events, culminating in an event named 'LAN Sweet LAN', which is targeted for February 2022.

LAN Sweet LAN will be Relog Media's biggest event so far when it occurs, with a huge $250,000 prize pool, and 16 teams attending. The event is set to take place at the company's headquarters, which is located in Belgrade, Serbia. Several teams will already be familiar with the headquarters, as it's commonly used by teams during boot camps.

Relog also announced that the teams will qualify through their 12 monthly tournaments, which of course means we have 3 teams decided already through the 3 Snow Sweet Snow tournaments, those teams are FunPlus Phoenix, HAVU & mousesports. This leaves 9 more events where the overall winner will qualify, those are Spring Sweet Spring 1-3, Sun Sweet Sun 1-3 & Fall Sweet Fall 1-3. Now, if you're particularly alert, you'll have noticed this only makes 12 teams of 16. The final 4 will be invited by Relog Media themselves to take part in the event.

We only have dates for Spring Sweet Spring 1 so far, the regionals started on April 12th, and will finish on April 23rd. There are currently 32 teams fighting out that for 8 places in the main event, which starts 26th April and lasts through to May 5th. If it follows the same pattern as Snow Sweet Snow, there will be roughly 3 to 4 weeks between each event starting and finishing, with these events scheduled to occur throughout all of 2021, leading up to that LAN event in February of next year. The regionals have prize pools of $32,000, spread between the top 16 teams, and the events at the end of each regional have prize pools of $68,000, which totals a neat $100,000 per event. By the end of the cycle and the finals on LAN, Relog Media will likely have given away over $1,000,000 in prize money.
