After the first weekend, 16 teams have been whittled down to just 6. Heroic, G2, Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, FaZe & Gambit have all made it through to either the semi-finals, or the quarter-finals.

However, for OG, MOUZ, Copenhagen Flames, fnatic, ENCE, FURIA, and even the fan favourites of Astralis, NIP, Vitality & Liquid, this years Katowice dream has collapsed to the floor, and shattered all around them. OG & Copenhagen Flames have the distinction of being the first two to be eliminated, for OG it was after a pitiful showing against MOUZ (2-0), and a closer, but not quite close enough loss to Heroic (2-1). Whereas for the Danish Flames, they were unable to keep up against a double whammy of CIS legends, with Virtus.pro (2-0) dominating them entirely, and shortly after their flame was extinguished by Gambit (2-1). 

Moving over to the ones who did get through though, Gambit suffered an early loss to NIP, but since then dropped a single map on their path to the quarter-finals. Smashing past Copenhagen Flames, Vitality (2-0) & NIP (2-0). FaZe meanwhile had close calls, a 2-1 against both fnatic & Liquid, before Natus only just managed to keep them down 2-1, keeping them in the quarter-finals, and NaVi going to the semi-finals ahead of them. Whilst we're with them, Natus previously saw off ENCE (2-1) and FURIA (2-0) to land them in the match with FaZe. G2, like Gambit, also had a rough start, losing 2-1 to fnatic, before coming back to fight off Liquid (2-0), then FURIA (2-1), and finally they dumped Astralis with the phone number for a local taxi service after a 2-1 win over them too. Virtus.pro needed to fight off the Flames, and then sank NIP (2-1), before Heroic demolished them 2-0, sending Virtus to the quarters, and themselves to the semis. Heroic, up to that point, had also won against OG (2-1) & Vitality (2-0).

Friday, 25th February;

  • 1430 - G2 vs Virtus.pro
  • 1800 - Gambit vs FaZe

Saturday, 26th February;

  • 1430 - Natus Vincere vs [winner of G2/Virtus.pro]
  • 1800 - Heroic vs [winner of FaZe/Gambit]

Sunday, 27th February;

  • 1600 - Grand Final
