With Group D over, the group stage of Pro League Season 15 has ended, with the playoffs starting in just 2 days.
Before we give the match ups for the playoff, let's recap the final group of the stage.
Of the five teams, we have a similar result to Group C, where one team, Natus Vincere managed to win all their matches, whilst one team, Evil Geniuses failed to win a single match. The CIS juggernaut won 10 of 11 maps played, with only Astralis being able to fend them off a map. Evil Geniuses decided "this, but not this" and did the exact opposite losing 10 maps, and won 1. The second in the group was Heroic, who won 4 out of 5, only losing to Natus, and then scraping through was Astralis on 3 of 5, with a mixed bag of results, firstly stomping Evil Geniuses 2-0, then being slapped around a bit by Heroic 0-2, overcoming AGO 2-0, getting another slapping by Natus 1-2, and finally winning over Complexity 2-1 to secure their placement in the top 3, doing over Complexity who were also in the running to possibly be the third. AGO went 2 for 5, going into the group with a lot of expectation of being the groups 0-5, although they proved capable against Evil Geniuses & Complexity, speaking of Complexity they won just one match over, you guessed it, the not so-Evil Geniuses.
Going onwards to the playoffs, they start on Tuesday. Here are the initial matches, plus the schedule ahead, with all times being GMT/UTC.
Tuesday 5th
- 1330 - ENCE vs fnatic
- 1700 - FaZe vs Players
Wednesday 6th
- 1330 - Entropiq vs Astralis
- 1700 - Liquid vs Heroic
then play continues with;
Thursday & Friday - Quarter Finals 1 to 4, at 1330 & 1700 on both days
Saturday - Semi Final 1 & 2, at 1330 & 1700
Sunday - Grand Final at 1500.
On days with more than one match, the second match may start at a later period if the first match overruns with plenty of overtime, or pauses. Matches will not start before the scheduled time, even if the available time would allow.
