As the new season ramps up, BLAST have announced the start of their 2022 campaign. The events will kick off on January 28th, with BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022.

Interestingly, Evil Geniuses are yet to announce their full lineups for the new season, so they'll be debuting their teams there, with hopes it all comes together for the acquisitions.

When all is said and done, battles won or lost, 6 teams will progress to the Spring Final directly, and the other 6 will go to another opportunity to qualify for the Final's, and go through to the Spring Showdown, where they'll be joined with other teams also fighting it out for placements. With all Group matches being BO1, there are plenty of opportunities for teams to make surprising victories, but equally, surprising or devastating losses.

After this event, the BLAST season continues, with the Spring Showdown penned down for April, and then the Spring Final taking place in June.
