After recently winning the ESL Polish Championship, an AGO representative recorded a video, revealing a monitor was running the official match stream, which was allegedly within view of at least two further AGO representatives, one of which had direct contact with the five players who were active in the server.

Upon this video being noticed an investigation was launched by ESL Poland. They were also quick to note that AGO had cooperated with the investigation, making available all requested resources to both ESIC & ESL. From this, it was determined that this may have been done without any deceitful intention. Despite this, ESL was forced to act, noting that, had they not determined it may have not been done maliciously, the penalties may have been much harsher than just stripping of a title, and may have included tournament level bans.

AGO have since released a statement in which they admitted to being "surprised" by the announcement, suggesting they may take any reasonable legal action to overturn the decision in order to "protect the good name of our organization". They continued on to say that the representative in question did indeed have a stream open, but was not in direct contact with any member of the team during play. They are now awaiting a written decision from ESL Poland, documenting the evidence that they used to determine this outcome.

Unless AGO are restored as the victors, HONORIS, who came second, will now be the official trophy holders of ESL Polish Championship Spring 2021. This also means they'll now take the spot previously given to AGO in the ENC Global Playoff later in the Spring, with seven other victors of national & regional tournaments in the series.

AGO are currently playing in Spring Sweet Spring 2, whilst HONORIS are currently playing Polish Esport League Spring 2021, where they'll take on Wisla Krakow on Wednesday at 16:00 UTC.
