Stage Three of the NA VCT begins on July 1st,
2021, with three-day open qualifiers for Challengers One. The main tournament
for Challengers One takes place from July 8th, 2021 to July 11th,
2021, less than a week after the qualifiers are over. After a two-week break,
the Challengers Two open qualifiers will take place on July 22nd,
2021, followed by the Challengers Two main tournament on July 29th,
2021.
All of this culminates in the NA Challengers Playoffs, which
begin on August 11th, 2021 and will choose the three teams who will
compete in the VCT Masters Three Berlin international LAN. Aside from North
America, other regions such as Japan, Korea, EMEA, and Southeast Asia will
benefit from the expanded format at the next Masters.
Although nothing has been confirmed, it appears that the NA
Stage Three tournaments will follow the same pattern as Stage Two. Eight teams
will be selected from the open qualifiers to compete in the Challengers One
double-elimination bracket, with the top four teams advancing to the
Challengers Playoffs.
Sentinels and Version1 qualified for Masters Two after
reaching the grand finals of the Challengers Finals in the previous stage. Sentinels won the entire tournament
without dropping a map, while V1 finished in the top six in Reykjavik.
Additional specifics about NA VCT Stage Three should be
published early next week, according to the official account for NA VALORANT
esports. The matches will begin once Episode Three begins, although there has
been no formal confirmation that matches would be played on the new patch.
