Following internal discussions between the players and the
management, EHOME has temporarily suspended its entire Dota 2 division until
further notice. Except for xNova, the whole EHOME team will be placed on the
inactive roster as a result of this decision.
Instead of staying with the squad and signing a new contract, the former PSG.LGD mainstay, xNova, has gone free agent now that his contract has ended. However, xNova is the only player who has left the squad; Liu "Sylar" Jiajun, Guo "Xm" Hongcheng, Yang "Chalice"' Shenyi, and Fade are still under EHOME's contract.
Following members are still on the roster however only Ahjit has participated in the recent six months:
- Lai "AhJit" Jay Son
- Zhou "Yif" Yifu
- Yang "NeverEnd" Pu
- Wang "old chicken" Zhiyong,
- Hu "dolem" Sen
Overall, EHOME's Dota Pro Circuit run in 2021 was a
disappointment, with the team finishing sixth in both regional league seasons
and missing out on either Major. The squad recovered and came close to
qualifying for The International 10, but fell short following a 3-1 loss to
Elephant in the Chinese qualifiers' grand finals.
Following in the footsteps of TNC
Predator in taking some time away from competition to
"completely recover, accompany family, and better prepare for future
battles," EHOME has placed their lineups on inactive status after missing
TI.
EHOME has been a mainstay of Chinese Dota since its debut,
finishing second at the first iteration of The International and remaining a
strong team in the professional scene for the past decade. However, the team
will not be playing in any upcoming events for the time being.
The team will continue to broadcast news regarding Dota, TI,
and any player movements that impact the organisation in the future, with hopes
to compete again after TI10.
