The first ever official international VALORANT LAN
tournament will take place at VCT Masters Two Reykjavik, after two stages of
global competition within the VALORANT Champions Tour. This first international
match in Iceland is the result of months of open qualifiers and regional
Challengers events.
A rigorous double-elimination tournament with ten teams will
take place over the course of a week. Each team is competing for $600,000, the
highest VALORANT prize pool yet, as well as a tremendous collection of VCT
circuit points. A double-elimination bracket will be used instead of a group
stage or round robin.
Teams from all over the world have assembled in Reykjavik, Iceland, to compete in a worldwide championship for the first time. North American teams include Sentinels and Version1, European teams include Team Liquid and Fnatic, while Brazilian teams include Team Vikings and Sharks Esports. The remaining teams are: X10 Esports from Southeast Asia, Crazy Raccoon from Japan, NUTURN from Korea, and KRU Esports from Latin America.
The tournament commenced on May 24th, 2021 10am CT. You may watch all of the matches on the official VALORANT Twitch channel.
