Tyson Ngo who goes by the in-game name “TenZ” has confirmed officially to be on loan to Sentinels till the end of Challengers Finals. This is valid only if the team makes it that far for the VALORANT Challengers Stage 2 tournament.

TenZ is a replacement for Jay “sinatraa” Won, who is under an investigation for accusations of sexual assault which were called out by his ex-girlfriend. These accusations were filed by his ex-girlfriend just before the start of Stage 1 Masters. This led the Sentinels to come up with a decision on the replacement of sinatraa with TenZ.

TenZ is a Content Creator for Cloud9. He had stepped down from the competition after Cloud9 failed to create any progress in the First Strike Tournament. Although, there were rumors of his displeasure with the team’s roster, Cloud9 decided to loan TenZ to Sentinels for a one-month duration. At the end of First Challengers Stage 2 weekend, fans were unaware of his status on Sentinels.

TenZ addressed the press conference after the victory of the Sentinel’s run in Masters, stating that he wanted to stay with the Sentinels VALORANT roster, and he enjoyed winning with his new squad. TenZ said he enjoys content creation but when it comes to weighing them both together in the current situation, he would prefer being a pro player and streaming on the side.

So far there have been no updates on new developments with the investigation related to sinatraa. Also, there is no disclosure on what TenZ’s long-term plans are going to be. It is said that negotiations are taking place behind the scenes, but Sentinels has declined to reveal or comment on either of the issues.

Sentinels are looking forward to qualifying for the Challengers Stage 2 finals. The team failed to qualify after losing to Built By Gamers. For the squad to make its first appearance in the first International Masters tournament, they will have to qualify for the challengers finals. The first International Masters tournament is going to be conducted in Reykjavík, Iceland.
