The latest version of the League of Legends player ranking is out now, and it shows a shift at the top as well as some entirely new players in the top 10. Below is the top ten players as of March 4th, 2021.

After several thrilling matches in the four major leagues, leagues around the world are closing in on the first playoffs of the year.

With so many matches taking place each week, there is still a lot going on in the LoL rankings as players compete to show off their best self.

In the rankings the battle for the top spot between DWG KIA mid-laner Heo "ShowMaker" Su and FunPlus Phoenix top-laner Jang "Nuguri" Ha-gwon is still going on, and ShowMaker has reclaimed the top spot this time.

For the time being, ShowMaker has reclaimed the lead after continuing to win with DWG KIA in the South Korean LCK.

Domestically, DWG KIA and ShowMaker are looking completely unstoppable. The team is on a nine-series winning streak, putting them in first place in the LCK standings with a near-perfect 11-1 record. If ShowMaker's dominance continues, he could be in line for another LCK trophy in the coming months.

G2 Esports jungler Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski is the only new face in this edition of the player ranking.

The veteran jungler has been in excellent form so far in the 2021 LEC Spring Split, demonstrating that he is still one of Europe's best players.

Jankos totally dominated his opponent on Olaf in G2's most recent game against Fnatic, resulting in a 12/0/6 scoreline.

Jankos leads the LEC standings with an 11-2 record, which he shares with the rest of G2.

Rogue is currently the only team that can keep up, but that could change soon. G2 and Rogue will face off in week 7 of the regular split, and the winner of that game will determine who will be the favorite in the upcoming playoffs.

LCS PLAYERS ABSENT FROM THE TOP 10.

It is difficult making it into the top 10, due to the fierce competition from many large regions. This is especially true for LCS players, who are currently not presented in the top 10.

The LCS players are left out, with players from the LCK, LPL, and LEC dominating the rankings. They will have to grind their way to the top.

Luka "Perkz" Perkovi of the Cloud9's mid laner who is currently ranked 14th in the world, has led C9 to the top of the LCS so far, and he will almost certainly be the favourite heading into the MSI 2021 playoff qualification.

If Perkz continues to perform well in the coming weeks, he could break into the top 10 as the only LCS player.

And that’s the highlights of this weeks Top 10 LoL player rankings, Keep an eye for the upcoming player updates.
