Blizzard Entertainment released a mega update 19.2 for Heathstone this week. This update brings balance updates, new heroes and minions, a massive changes to the game modes, and off-course, bug fixes. As a token of gratitude, Hearthstone is rewarding all players with 500 gold as well as five card packs of Madness at the Darkmoon Faire. Remember, you must login before January 18th, 2021 to claim the rewards. Let’s look into the highlights.
Old Gods entered Battlegrounds as new Heroes! Also, we have ten new minions.
- C’Thun: Hero Power- Saturday C’Thuns cost 2 and it gives +1/+1 to the friendly minions at the end of turn. Moreover, it upgrades after each use.
- N’Zoth: Passive- Avatar of N’Zoth, allows the hero to start the game with 1/1 Fish that gains all your Deathrattles in combat.
- Y’Shaarj’s Embrace your Rage adds a minion from Tavern Tier to your warband.
- Elistra the Immortal, Tier 6 with 7 Attack and 7 Health: Divine Shield. Reborn: This gets attacked instead a friendly Taunt minion.
- Acolyte of C'Thun, Tier 1 with 2 Attack and 2 Health: Taunt. Reborn.
- Tormented Ritualist, Tier 2 with 2 Attack and 3 Health: Taunt gives an adjacent minions +1/+1 whenever this is attacked.
- Faceless Taverngoer, Tier 5 with 4 Attack and 4 Health: Battlecry allows you to choose a minion in Bob’s Tavern and transform it into a plain copy of itself.
- Arm of the Empire, Tier 3 with 4 Attack and 5 Health: Gives +3 Attack whenever a friendly Taunt minion is attacked.
- Bigfernal, Tier 4 with 4 Attack, 4 Health, and a Demon: Gain +1/+1 permanently after summoning a Demon.
- Mythrax, the Unraveler, Tier 6 with 4 Attack and 4 Health: Gain +1/+2 for each minion type you control at the end of your turn.
- Warden of Old, Tier 3 with 3 Attack and 3 Health: Deathrattle adds a Gold Coin to your hand.
- Qiraji Harbinger, Tier 4 with 5 Attack and 5 Health: Gives its neighbors +2/+2 after a friendly minion with Taunt dies.
- Champion of Y'Shaarj, Tier 4 with 2 Attack and 2 Health: Gains +1/+1 permanently whenever a friendly Taunt minion is attacked.
Nerfs: Overpowered Demon Hunters, Hunters, and Neutrals are being targeted, to bring back the balance to the game.
- Hunter, Dinotamer Brann now costs 8 mana instead of 7 mana.
- Demon Hunter, Shardshatter Mystic now costs 4 mana instead of 3 mana.
- Demon Hunter, Blade Dance’s cost has been increased to 3 mana from 2 mana.
- Neutral, Voracious Reader’s cost has been increased to 3 mana from 2 mana.
- Demon Hunter, Dreadlord's Bite’s Attack and Health has been decreased to 2/2 from 3/2.
- Demon Hunter, Blade Dance’s cost has been increased to 3 mana from 2 mana.
- Neutral, Lorekeeper Polkelt now costs 5 mana instead of 4 mana.
