There have already been several noteworthy performances
across the league among its many superstars after two weeks of play in the 2021
LCS Summer Split. 100 Thieves, who are currently near the top of the
regular-season rankings and the KDA leaderboard, is one team that has looked
fantastic so far this season.
According to Oracle's Elixir, 100 Thieves' new mid laner
Abbedagge and budding star AD carry FBI are the only players in the league with
a double-digit KDA at the end of week two, with the former having an astounding
13.4 KDA and the latter having an 11.5 KDA in the Summer Split. In addition,
Abbedagge lists just five deaths, although the FBI has six.
NA League of Legends fans have been eager to see if
Abbedagge would join 100 Thieves since he joined the league. And the
21-year-old put in some impressive performances on a number of champs this
week. He's been everything this team has needed—a stable mid-lane presence who
can put the carry trousers on when necessary—whether he's playing Karma to help
assist the rest of the team or taking over the show with spectacular Akali
play.
In the meantime, as one of the strongest ADCs in the LCS,
FBI has remained a steady force in the bottom lane. According to Oracle's
Elixir, he now has the highest kill participation rate and the second-largest
share of his team's overall kills among ADCs. He and Abbedagge have been a
lethal one-two combination for the team so far, and they should be a force to
be reckoned with as the season progresses.
100 Thieves has established itself as a top contender in the
region, having already defeated top-tier teams such as Cloud9, TSM, and Evil
Geniuses. They've only lost one game this split and are currently ranked second
in the LCS with sixteen wins and eight defeats since the Spring Split began.
They'll try to keep up their outstanding play against CLG, FlyQuest, and Team
Liquid next week.
