The Atlanta FaZe did not require extra time to take over New York
Subliners to proceed to the winners' bracket finale at the Call of Duty League
Championship.
The Atlanta FaZe returned to their dominant form. Although, at Stage Five Major, their first match going 0-2 which also included a potentially upsetting loss to the Seattle Surge seemed to be a little off. But this time, the Faze were back to their original form. League MVP Simp started spraying bullets in a series into Clayster’s dead body. This gave his former eUnited teammate an unfriendly gesture of greeting on the series’ first map.
Arcitys has been one of the greatest players who is also
responsible for the improvement of the team over a year. Although, he was the
only current player in FaZe who was not a part of the 2020 Champs runners-up
team. On Atlanta bouncing back after Stage Five, Arcitys said that all have
weaknesses. They got exposed to that major. And that is how they were supposed
to look and that is how they were looking right then and hope to keep it.
All the players in the team of Atlanta FaZe had a positive kill/death ratio. Arcitys and aBeZy, both were holding 1.13 K/Ds over the series three games. On the other hand, it was Simp and Cellium who were holding 1.31 and 1.33 K/Ds respectively.
The New York Subliners had an impressive victory against Optic
Chicago on August 19, 2021, with a 3-2 win. But unfortunately, The Subliners
looked completely lost against Atlanta FaZe on August 20, 2021. The FaZe did
not require extra time to take over the New York Subliners. Fortunately for the
New York Subliners, this is what Atlanta FaZe does to almost all the teams and
they will not have to go against Atlanta again until the grand finals or losers
bracket finals. But the New York Subliners will have to go against Stage Five
Major Champions Minnesota RØKKR which might be a rough road for them. This will
be a do-or-die elimination match for the final match of the day.
