The International 10 is finally here, and no amount of postponement or moving nations will prevent participants from taking their place on Dota 2's biggest stage. Rather than being held in early August in Stockholm, Sweden, TI10 will now take place from October 7th, 2021 to October 17th, 2021 at Bucharest's Arena Nationala.

Following the Swedish government's and the Swedish Sports Federation's decision not to accept eSports into the sports federation, Valve announced it was searching for "potential alternatives abroad in Europe" to hold the tournament.

Since then, the final six teams have qualified for TI10 via regional qualifiers, completing the 18-team roster that will compete for a total prize pool of more than $40 million. With that in mind, here are the teams that have qualified for The International 10 over the course of the Dota Pro Circuit in 2021, divided into DPC points and regional qualifiers.

Qualified with DPC points:

After placing second at both the One Esports Singapore Major and the WePlay Esports AniMajor, Evil Geniuses enters TI10 as the top seed, followed by AniMajor champion PSG.LGD and the ever-present Virtus Pro.

Except for Thunder Predator and LGD, every team that received a direct invite to TI10 had won at least one season of their regional league and competed in at least one Major. Virtus Pro was the only club to win both regional league seasons, which is why, despite their mediocre Major achievements, they are seeded so high.

Regional qualifier winners:

Every year, the qualifier serves as a last chance for teams to make it to TI. Four of the six teams' qualification performances saved their seasons.

During the regular season, Team Spirit and Fnatic both made appearances at one Major, demonstrating that they were capable of making it to the international stage. Meanwhile, Undying and SG e-sports were consistently ranked third or fourth in their respective regions, meaning this was their only chance to break free from the shadow of teams like EG, Quincy Crew, and beastcoast.

OG and Elephant were two teams with strong expectations entering into the 2021 DPC, with OG being the defending TI champions and Elephant assembling a super team amid a significant roster shakeup that characterised the bulk of Chinese teams for the season. Both team did not qualify for a Major, and they narrowly avoided elimination in the qualifications after being one series away from elimination.
