After TNC Predator and Team Spirit were eliminated from the WePlay Esports AniMajor, Nigma is the only team that has a chance to compete at The International 10 (TI10). However, in order to do so, Nigma will have to recover from a tense 2-1 setback to PSG. The final European squad was relegated to the bottom tier by LGD.

The 12 teams with the most Dota Pro Circuit points at the end of the AniMajor will automatically qualify for TI10. TNC and Spirit were also vying for one of the few remaining positions, but after losing 2-1 and 2-0 to Evil Geniuses and Vici Gaming, respectively, they fell short of the required points.

TNC's loss to EG, eliminated them from the AniMajor, ensuring that Beastcoast would be attending TI10 in August. After NoPing e-sports was eliminated yesterday, Alliance was also guaranteed a spot. With Beastcoast secured, only one direct qualification position remains, and two teams are in contention to take it.

Thunder Predator could not make it to the AniMajor, but their performance in the regional league and at the ONE Esports Singapore Major earned them 800 DPC points, putting them in an excellent position. To beat that total, Nigma will have to finish in the top two, earning KuroKy and his team at least 1,070 DPC points.

To advance that far, Nigma must win three series, beginning with their first lower bracket match against EG. Nigma will replace TP on the direct invite list for TI10 if they get it to the grand finals, meaning Kuro will continue his tradition of being one of two players to compete at every TI event, with Puppey and his previously qualified Team Secret.

Any team that competed in the regional leagues during the second season of the 2021 DPC will have one last chance to qualify for TI10 by competing in a regional qualification.
