T1 has confirmed the reports about alterations to the starting lineup less than a week before the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage Three. T1 is promoting Anthony "dawn" Hagopian from the academy roster and bringing brax back to the starting lineup.

The club and IGL Sam "DaZeD" Marine have parted ways, according to T1 coach David Denis, due to disagreements in "vision" between the coach and the veteran leader. Denis also said that Ha "Spyder" Jung-woo is recovering from an injury and is "taking a break."

This is Brax's second stay with T1, and coach Denis was honest about how his first meeting with the young former CS:GO star went. Denis stated that he and Brax had a serious conversation about what they wanted from the team and from each other, and that they thought "it wasn't a good fit at the time." According to the coach, now is a better time for both sides.

Coach Denis described Dawn as a "top-level talent" who is looking forward to seeing how he performs on the main roster. In terms of team organisation, T1 is promoting Rahul "curry" Nemani to IGL, with Denis explaining that his "aggressive and dynamic" inclinations are ideal for the post. The T1 coach also praised Skadoodle and autimatic for their varied contributions in the introduction video.

T1 is seeking to improve on their results from the first two stages of VCT, where they only made two appearances in the Challengers main event, both of which they were immediately ousted. The squad will try to make a last-minute push for Masters or Champions in the last stage of VCT, with a fresh structure and the return of some excellent firepower.

VCT NA Challengers One open qualifiers commence on July 1st, 2021.

Here is the T1’s updated roster:

  • Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham
  • Timothy "Autimatic" Ta
  • Rahul "Curry" Nemani
  • Braxton "Brax" Pierce
  • Anthony "Dawn" Hagopian
