Fnatic has announced the addition of top laner Adam to its starting lineup for the 2021 LEC Summer Split. He was one of the tournament's best-performing top laners, winning European Masters Spring 2021 with a 3-1 victory over BTXL as the top laner for ERL team Karmine Corp. In 2020, he was promoted to the first division of the Ligue Française de League of Legends (LFL) after competing in the second division. He and the rest of KCorp went on to dominate the league.

After joining the LFL at the beginning of 2021, this will be Adam's first split in a major region. In the LFL Spring Split, he was a mechanically gifted and confident laner whose champion pool included aggressive picks like Darius, Renekton, and Aatrox. His champion pool at EU Masters, on the other hand, featured a little more variety, with tank picks like Sion and Cho'Gath.

On such a challenging platform, a rookie player like Adam is likely to take some time to get into gear. But, if he can establish his footing early in the Summer Split, he has the potential to be a devastating weapon for Fnatic team that struggled to find its identity during the spring season.

In a recent interview with the LEC's Laure "Bulii" Valée, Adam stated that current top-laner Bwipo will be switching to the jungle position.

Bwipo will most likely be a leader for the club in terms of communication this split, according to the young newcomer, especially now that he has taken on this new responsibility. In the end, Adam thinks they'll get along fine because they both play aggressively.

As it appears like Bwipo will be the team's new jungler, Fnatic may be replacing current jungler Selfmade. The 21-year-old talent joined the lineup at the end of 2019 but failed to win an LEC title during his time with the team. He did assist the team qualify for the 2020 World Championship, but they were defeated in the first round of the elimination round by the LPL's Top Esports in a painful reverse sweep.

When the 2021 LEC Summer Split begins on Friday, June 11th, 2021, you may see this new-look Fnatic lineup in action.
