Huke who previously played for Dallas Empire and currently playing for Los Angeles Thieves shed light on his turbulent Call of Duty League season.
He released a YouTube video that discussed the usage of Adderall during the 2020 Call of Duty Season. In that, his team Dallas won the biggest event of the year. He said that they won but he did not feel good. In addition to this, Huke said that he decided to cut out Adderall while heading into Black Ops Cold War season. He began to focus on his health by eating healthy food, focusing on his mental state, and was hoping to return to the form without the use of the drug.
Dallas, after they made a strong start to the 2021 Call of
Duty Season, they had lost back-to-back matches in Stage Two Major against the
Toronto Ultra and Atlanta Faze. Since then, Huke started hearing that his team
was planning on making a change to the roster. Huke’s brother informed him that
he could be replaced within the team’s starting lineup.
Huke began to do every task his teammates and coach asked
for. This included taking notes on the team’s game plan and also watching more
gameplay than ever before. Dallas beat Paris Legion 3-1 in Stage Three’s
opening weekend and that is when Huke felt things were turning a corner. And
later that evening, he was told that he will be moved to the bench.
Huke stated that he got a call from Empire head coach Ray
and Hastr0 who is the Own and Chief gaming officer at Envy. He said that he did
not hear a single word from his teammates on what he had been doing wrong.
Huke
later was acquired by Los Angeles Thieves, he said that he was informed about
the rumors which were surrounding him within the competitive Call of Duty
scene. It was said that one of his old teammates and a new teammate brought
this into a story that Huke is on psychedelics and requires help. This was told
to Huke by one of his good friends in the community.
Huke
addressed that he is doing great and does not take Adderall, but he wanted to
shed light on some of the mental health stigmas within the profession Call of
Duty Space.
