Galaxy Racer and Team Nigma are uniting their two specialty eSports organisations, combining Galaxy Racer's massive eSports, content, and lifestyle brand with Nigma's competitive experience. Nigma will rebrand as Nigma Galaxy and will lead Galaxy Racer's eSports section from its headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

Overall, Nigma Galaxy will shift its focus from top-tier Dota 2 to rosters that span numerous major eSports titles, including League of Legends, VALORANT, CS:GO, Free Fire, and PUBG MOBILE, with 60 players from over 20 nations. Mohamed Morad, Christoph Timm, and Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi, co-founders of Nigma, will lead it.

Nigma Galaxy will continue to function as an independent company, with its own funding, brand, and direction, as well as its own visual identity.

Since its inception in 2019 by Morad, Timm, and the bulk of Team Liquid's The International Seven winning Dota 2 lineup, Nigma has swiftly risen to popularity as a competitive organisation, securing several high-profile collaborations with corporations like as Etihad Airways and Etisalat.

According to a YouGov survey, MENA as a region already has a lesser familiarity with eSports than other big areas, despite having several nations with greater gaming populations than France, Sweden, and Norway. Nigma Galaxy can now leverage that expertise and the merger to continue developing as the largest competitive gaming team in the MENA area, while also expanding internationally, with ambitions to expand inside Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, and China.

Similarly, Galaxy Racer, which was created in 2019, has already established itself as a significant organisation in esports and the sole MENA-centric worldwide presence. Galaxy Racer will continue to focus on expanding its content brand, tournament administration, merchandise, and other aspects of its company, such as its recently created record label GXR Records.

The company already boasts some of the most prominent content creators in the MENA and Asia areas, with a roster of more than 80 creators claiming a combined reach of over 330 million followers and billions of views across all major platforms.
