The first stage of Pro League Season 15 is over, Group A has come to a close. NIP & Entropiq were the best performers, both winning 4 out of their 5 matches, with fnatic coming in third place, with 3 out of 5 wins.
NIP smashed their way through Entropiq & fnatic in 2-0 fashion, whereas LookingForOrg & MOUZ proved a little more of a challenge at 2-1. NIP's only loss was to to G2, who neutered NIPs plays for a 2-0 victory. Entropiq was able to demolish MOUZ, fnatic & LookingForOrg in remarkable shows of talent, with only G2 taking a map off them 2-1, and a loss to NIP. Last of the teams going through is fnatic, who lost in 0-2 manners to Entropiq & NIP. But were able to see off G2, MOUZ & LookingForOrg 2-1, coming close to being knocked out a few times along the ride. For the losers of sorts, MOUZ won 2 of their 5 matches, and LookingForOrg was the unlucky one of the group who won none of the matches set up for them. The big surprise of the group though will be G2, straight off being the runners up of this years IEM Katowice, who at Pro League were able to win just two of their five matches. They lost to fnatic (1-2), Entropiq (1-2) & MOUZ (0-2), but won against LookingForOrg & NIP 2-0.
Starting on Wednesday 16th March, Group B will take to the stage and see Vitality, ENCE, Sprout, Outsiders, FURIA & FaZe clash, with each team facing each other once. Outsiders is the Virtus.pro team, who will be competing with a neutral name, after ESL imposed sanctions on certain Russian teams due to the Ukraine / Russian situation currently ongoing. Later on, Gambit are expected to face a similar situation, although their neutral name is not currently announced.
